Lebork is a unique city and one of the few
towns in Pomerania to have its own patron, St
James the Apostle.Lebork is friendly towards tourists and investors. It has low tax rates and its inexpensive properties make the region attractive to many prospective investors. There is a well-developed infrastructure and variety of amenities offered in connection with the structural unemployment occurring here.
In the first half of the 1990s, Lebork established social and cultural contacts and initiated international cooperation based on signed partnership agreements. Friendly relations between local governments of European towns is one of the primary aims of such cooperation.
