eHealth Conference 2008 in Kiel - "eHealth's rolling out”
The fifth eHealth Conference will take place on 9th and 10th of September 2008 in Kiel. The conference "eHealth's rolling out - Qualität, Effizienz und Akzeptanz unter Praxisbedingungen" will focus on concrete ways to realise eHealth projects. Attendees will exchange experience and discuss the problems of transferring modern eHealth technologies into practise.
The eHealth Conference 2008 is organised by the German federal state Schleswig-Holstein, the Federal Ministry of Health and the Gesellschaft für Versicherungswissenschaft und -gestaltung e. V. (GVG). One of the main issues is the evaluation of the electronic health insurance card which on the one hand offers new ways of effective health care, but on the other hand involves risk like data security. Next to presentations, discussions and workshops there will be an exhibition showing examples of eHealth technologies.
