eHealth for Regions Network Virtual Seminars

The eHealth for Regions network organises a seminar series on “Ageing population and increase of chronic diseases: Need for personalized healthcare”.

The seminars will take place by video conference in English language connecting participants from five countries. The seminar addresses professionals in home care, health management and in the IT-sector. Participation is free of charge.

Topic

The elderly care in Finland is surrounded by changes and new way of thinking. The amount of elderly people is rising and the need of decreasing institutional care is necessary. All means of open care, home care and preventive elderly care is in the high speed of development. The city of Seinäjoki is one of the top municipalities developing this work. It needs to be done lots of network to make it possible to find all the necessary ways of working in the future, to make it possible to organise services to all that need it.
