Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education and an efficient actor in education and research, development and innovation (RDI) in the region of South Ostrobothnia in West Finland.
The number of full-time students is 4800 and academic and other staff members 350. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has 19 Bachelor and 8 Master degree programmers. Three degree programmers are totally taught in English (International Business, Nursing and a Master’s Degree in International Business Management). Also double degree programmers are available in the fields of technology and business
The Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia is a statutory federation of municipalities consisting of 17 municipalities. It is responsible for regional planning, regional development, promoting the interests of its member municipalities, cultural topics and transnational cooperation. In addition to its mandatory tasks, the Regional Council functions as an intermediator and developer organisation networking cross-sectoral stakeholders for the benefit of the whole region and its inhabitants.

The Hospital District of South Ostrobothnia
encompasses 18 Finnish-speaking municipalities in South Ostrobothnia that have
a total population of almost 190 000. Seinäjoki Central Hospital provides specialized medical care
for emergency patients around the clock. Additionally, we offer non-urgent medical
care in all key specialties.
